Suat Kiniklioglu completed the Turkish Air Force Academy in 1986 and worked as a Liaison Officer in the Turkish Air Force until 1989. After leaving the Air Force Suat Kiniklioglu studied at Carleton University in Ottawa Canada and obtained a B.A. in Political Science (High Honors). He has a Masters degree in International Relations from Bilkent University, Ankara.

Suat Kiniklioglu worked in a number of embassies in Ankara as political consultant before setting up the Ankara Center for Turkish Policy Studies in 2002. He became editor of the English-language quarterly journal Insight Turkey. In 2004 he was invited to be a Transatlantic Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States in Washington. Following his fellowship he became founding director of the German Marshall Fund office in Ankara which he set up in 2005. He joined the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in 2007 and entered the Turkish Parliament in the July 2007 general election.

Suat Kiniklioglu writes a weekly column at Today's Zaman an English-language daily and is a frequent contributor to international media outlets such as the International Herald Tribune, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Suat Kiniklioglu currently holds the positions of AK Party Central Executive Committee Member, AK Party Deputy Chairman of External Affairs and Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Turkish Parliament.

Hasan Alsancak

Hasan Alsancak completed his undergraduate study on Law Enforcement at Police Academy in Ankara, Turkey in 1992. Besides having taken the Masters courses on Criminal Justice at the University of Virginia in the USA, he also graduated from the FBI National Academy on International Security in 2000. In 2001, Hasan Alsancak got his second Masters degree on International Relations in Ankara, Turkey where he studied "The Role of Intelligence Agencies in Decision Making and Implementation Process of the Foreign Policy". Hasan Alsancak also completed International Security Programme at United Nations Asia and Far East Institute in Tokyo, Japan between 1995-1996.

Hasan Alsancak started his career at the Turkish Prime Ministry in 1992, then served at the International Intelligence Operations Bureau of the Intelli gence Department of General Directorate of Turkish National Police in 1995. Following this post, Hasan Alsancak worked at the Intelligence Unit of the Protection Department of the Turkish Presidency between January 1998 and January 2000. Then, Hasan Alsancak served two crucial posts at the General Directorate of Turkish National Police, in the Anti-Organized Crime Operations Bureau and the Financial Crime Investigations Bureau between January 2000 and February 2003. Afterwards, Hasan Alsancak worked in the United Nations Turkey Office as Senior Country Safety and Security Advisor. Hasan Alsancak left his position at the UN and government to work for BP & BTC Crude Oil Pipeline Company Turkey as Country Energy Security Director. Besides, Hasan Alsancak is advisory board member at the STRATIM (Strategic Communications Center) on Energy Security and International Security since 2009.

Hasan Alsancak has several articles published at local and international magazines. Besides, he gives lectures at public and private institutions.
